When we want to unwind at the end of the day, relax, and treat ourselves, Crown Affair is just the brand to do this with. Just launching earlier this year in January, this haircare brand has been featured in Vogue, Forbes, Allure, The Cut, Hype Bae, Fashionista.com, and more! For those who have never heard of this brand before, founder and CEO Dianna Cohen says “I wanted to create high quality haircare rooted in ritual (Source: crownaffair.com).”
Despite being less than a year old, some of the many products that this brand offers includes a luxury renewal mask for hair hydration, several types of combs and brushes for shiny and detangled hair, lightweight oils, microfiber towels, and silk scrunchies. I had the opportunity a couple of weeks ago to receive some Crown Affair product and I am so grateful I had the chance to. I love my hair and you should always treat it with luxury. Read on for my review with this haircare brand and stay until the end to visit their website and buy yourself a few treats.

Just by taking a quick browse on the Crown Affair website and Instagram, there is no doubt that there is luxury in everything they post and create for the brand itself. After reaching out last month to try out these products, I was expecting them to be just like any other hair brand but I was pleasantly surprised at the amazing quality that was put into the comb and silk scrunchie which I received.
The Products I Received
Once I reached out to Crown Affair, the products came fairly quickly and I was able to test them out right away! Not only did I love the packaging but the comb comes in an adorable slip which you can put in into and take it anywhere with you on the go without even worry about it. The scrunchie I always had on my wrist because even though I do always have my hair down, sometimes a girl just wants their hair out of their face and before I left the house to run some errands, I made sure I had it on.
1. Comb
Taking the comb out of the slip it came in when I first got the package was something I had never seen before from a hair brand, or at least a hair brand I have ever bought from in the past. It was something very unique and made me feel like I was already taking that one extra step to care even more for my hair. The quality, durability and color of the comb is so minimal and perfect. You would think is just like any other comb you can get at the beauty supply story, but it so much more different because you can really feel the quality when you’re touching it and as it goes through your hair.
2. Silk Scrunchie
Silk anything for your hair is seriously the best thing you can use and I have been wanting to invest in silk related products to use for my hair especially since it is naturally curly too and gets frizzy fairly quickly. As mentioned before, I keep this scrunchie on my wrist majority of the time and since it is not extremely tight, it doesn’t leave a tight line around either your hair or the wrist which is something I hate. You never want a harsh line around your hair and this scrunchie definitely doesn’t leave that for you. Crown Affair offers an oversized silk version of the one I received and I would definitely love to buy that next to hold all of my curls together.
My Hair Experience
As someone who has naturally curly hair, it has been straightened for the past week since I wanted to switch up the curls recently and get a new look. But, while I was washing my hair before I decided to straighten it, I did use the comb in the shower because using combs like this for curls is so great since it makes the detangling process so much easier and it is less rough on the hair instead of using a harsher brush. Receiving and achieving any type of volume when it comes to having curls while using these types of combs, are any girls best friends.
Using the two products for the past couple of weeks has seriously been so great and everyday when I wake up and before I go to sleep, I grab my Crown Affair comb to do some detangling. Even before I wash my face, I grab the scrunchie from my desk and put my hair up right away. Overall, I loved both of them and Crown Affair even messaged me back a couple weeks after I received everything just to see how I was doing and if I was loving everything.
Such an incredible brand, sweetest service ever, and the greatest products you will ever put on your hair. Take your haircare seriously, treat is as a luxury, and use Crown Affair.
