  • Can you tell us a little bit about yourself? (Where you’re from, your  hobbies, career, etc.)

K: Hi, I am Kennedy Eurich and currently working as a full-time influencer. I am 21 years old and from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (in reality I am about 35 minutes outside of the city, living in a tiny town surrounded by cornfields called Cabot). Some of my hobbies include driving around, listening to music, shopping, and spending time with my fur baby, Minx.

  • Since our blog is called Glamour and Guide, what is your favorite  beauty secret or go-to beauty brands — whether it’s clothes, jewelry,  makeup, skincare, etc.?

K: Aquaphor Is my favorite beauty product, seriously! I think If I had to choose one beauty product  to live by for the rest of my life it would be Aquaphor. I love using it as a lip balm them putting  the extra product under my eyes.

Fighting acne? Hero cosmetics “mighty patches” are my favorite way to suck the life out of a  pimple and my Curology 3 step routine has become a must have.

A new item I’ve been loving recently is the Drunk Elephant “D-Bronzi Anti-pollution sunshine  drops”. They are drops I mix with my moisturizer that give me the perfect glow. I’ve been all  about the natural glow lately and they help me achieve that. I also can’t live without a good lip  combo and my current fav is Milani “spice” lip liner paired with the Charlotte Tilbury “pillow talk” lipstick.

As far as jewelry goes, I love a gold hoop! I cannot leave my house without my ALV Jewels “mini  tube hoops”, I think they have been my most worn hoop for 2021 and always make me feel put together.

I’m a sucker for comfy clothes and something I can’t go without is a sweatsuit! Aritiza has my  heart when it comes to the perfect sweatsuit.

  • What advice would you give your younger self?

K: I would tell my younger self that it is ok to be alone. I think in my earlier years I was so obsessed  with always having friends and something to do that I often neglected my own needs. As I’ve gotten older, I realized I am a total introvert and my own best friend- which is totally ok!! I think  being your own best friend is important because only you know how to make yourself happy and  sometimes it is ok to be selfish, especially in your early 20s.

  • Where do you see yourself 3-5 years from now? Is there anything you want to improve on for yourself or goals you want to achieve? Is there somewhere you want to travel to?

K: In 3-5 years, I see myself having some sort of business. I have always loved fashion and it would  be a dream of mine to create my own brand. Another goal I have is to get started in real estate/  buying land of my own. I have had so much personal growth in the last year in a half and still have so much more to go. I think my biggest flex is how much I learned about myself/ how I treat others. I have learned to  completely change the way I react to situations. I would love to eventually travel overseas and see more of the world/ learn about other cultures. I grew up in a small town with barely any diversity, educating myself on other cultures is so  important to me.

  • Social media can take a huge toll on anyone’s mental health whether  you’re an active user, or you like to scroll through others’ photos and  videos. What’s your biggest tip for finding the balance between being  on social media and not comparing yourself to those online, letting comments get to you, etc.?

K: That is a question that I don’t even know the answer to. To be honest one of the biggest  hardships I’ve faced since diving into the social media world is balance. When I first starting using  social media it was an escape but what do you do when your escape becomes your job? It is  challenging drawing the line between what is real life and what is this online world I live in 24/7.  The thing that has helped me the most is going for late night drives and listening to music. That is  my “me” time and gives me a chance to wind down.

Before social media I never found myself losing sleep over likes/ followers etc. but it became a  challenge as I noticed myself gaining attention and working with brands. You slowly start to feel  like you really are just a number, especially when your finances depend on it. It is so weird being  told things like “you only have so many followers, so your post is only worth this much money”. It  is hard to not associate your worth with your followers as dumb as that sounds.

I have my days where it seems like the whole world is crashing down on me and every mean  comment stings but how I’ve handled it has improved immensely since starting social media a  year ago. I used to feel the need to clapback at every negative comment I got and over explain  myself. Now, I sometimes find myself giving the negativity attention but not as bad as before.

  • How do you handle some of your more stressful days to feel more at peace? Do you have a self-care day or routine that you live by, taking  long drives, etc.?

K: Long drives and listening to music have become my medicine. Nothing helps me unwind like my  nightly drives.

  • How would you describe your style in three words? Is there an outfit or an item from your closet that you always find yourself grabbing every week?

K: Comfortable, classic, and sometimes not even matching, lol.

I am all about comfort so a good sweatshirt is a must! I find myself wearing oversized hoodies throughout every season.

“Basic” has had a bad rep in the fashion world so let’s go with “classic”. I don’t think there is anything wrong with wearing things that will never go out of style. A great pair of jeans or button up can go a long way and create so many different looks.

Like I said, comfort is huge for me so I often just wear whatever feels right, even if I end up resembling Adam Sandler, lol.

  • Is there a fashion trend you’re excited to try out for Fall? What outfit are you excited to wear as the weather starts to get colder?

K: I am mostly excited to wear hoodies and not worry about sweating my butt off, lol. But I love  jackets and that is probably the most exciting part of fall. Anytime I go shopping I head  straight to the jackets and boots.

  • What is your most memorable “pinch me” moment in the industry you’re in right now? Whether it’s been an event, meeting new people, a brand you’ve worked with, etc.?

K: Working with Steve Madden and creating an influencer edit was my first “pinch me” moment. It is a brand I have always purchased from and seeing myself on their website felt like an actual dream.

Sitting front row during Sherri Hills fall 2021 NYFW show was also a moment where I could have  fallen over and died. It was a full circle moment for me for sure. Freshman year of high school I cried at my local dress shop because my mom wouldn’t throw down $500 on a homecoming dress (a “Kim, there are people dying” moment for sure, lol) but nonetheless every year after that I purchased a Sherri hill dress so being invited to that made my high school self so proud. There have been so many moments in the last year that my childhood -self is screaming, I grew  up in the era of youtubers making it their full-time job. It was always my dream to do the same.

Not to mention being noticed in public by those who watch me is SO COOL. It never gets old either. I have built such an incredible audience of people just like me so when I meet them it’s like we’ve known each other forever.

  • Is there a character from any movie or show that you’d love to meet? Why this person?

K: Kate Hudson’s character from “How to lose a guy in 10 days”. I don’t know why but ever since I was little, I was obsessed with that movie and her character. I can totally find myself getting into  a similar situation.
