- Tell our readers about yourself in a few words! Maybe a hobby you currently do, a show you’re watching, or anything you might say when you meet someone new!
- K: Hello everyone! My name is Kacey, I’m an Ohio-based lifestyle content creator navigating post-grad life & work in the fashion/retail industry. In my free time I love cooking, trying different fitness classes & new restaurants!!
- How did you land your current role at Abercrombie & Fitch? What was the process like?
- I was wrapping up my senior year of college & deep in my job hunting journey on LinkedIn when I stumbled across a job opening post from A&F. After countless, unanswered applications & a few rejections, I took a leap of faith & applied for a Visual Merchandising Coordinator position! The interview process took 3 rounds over the course of a month including a series of answering pre-recorded questions, a 1-on-1 call with a recruiter, and a group interview with a panel of potential supervisors who make the final decision on if you are a good fit for their respective team!

- What would you recommend helps someone stand out in the hiring or interview process?
- K: I know this is so cliché but honestly…BE YOURSELF. Nothing stands out more than an authentic and genuine individual! You don’t have to answers questions perfectly or check all the boxes of the job description in order to be hired. Being personable, honest, and confident with what YOU can bring to the table is key! Also don’t be afraid to ask tons of questions, people love to answer them and it can help you better understand if you’re suited for the job 🙂
- Is there something you’d want to tell your younger self?
- Dream big. Keep working hard, be proud of your accomplishments & never be afraid to go after what you want despite what others may say. You will get to where you want to be in due time but give yourself kindness & grace ❤

- What is your biggest accomplishment that you’re proud of recently? It can be in your personal life, job or anything!
- Recently, I’ve been proud of myself for taking care of my mental health & well-being. I have always been one to constantly push myself and be resilient, but your body & mind need rest and care to avoid burnout. In this “hustle-culture” society, take time for yourself, establish boundaries & don’t feel guilty for having a lazy day!
