How To Romanticize Your Everyday: Bring Luxury Back Into Your Life & Be The Main Character

With our busy everyday lifestyles, you often find it hard to squeeze in days for your self-care or moments throughout the day that are just for you and only you. There are so many ways you can bring these little moments of luxury back into your life and you can do this in a few different ways. It is important to always give ourselves the time to reset no matter what we’re going through. The more we put it on the back burner, the harder it can be to keep pushing through day by day.

If you are looking to romanticize your life in little bits everyday, we’re going to cover a few different categories including having reset days, moving your body, dressing up everyday and more. You don’t have to wait for a birthday or a big celebration and milestone to finally care about yourself. You don’t have to wait for any moment to finally put yourself first. Life is short so work on what you want to accomplish and achieve and have the abundance mindset that you are capable of anything you want. Be the main character again in your life.

Personal

With your personal life, you may find that you can get caught up in what is going on all around you. This can lead you to neglect certain areas. A simple way to enjoy the small moments of everyday life is by dressing up, even if you don’t have an agenda. When you’re home everyday or you don’t have much plans, it can more comfortable to obviously chill in sweatpants and a hoodie, but there are many research studies that have been done which speak about how it is statistically proven you can boost your productivity, confidence and self esteem by just being a well dressed person. 

Take Yourself Out

A lot of us wait for a friend or a date to come into our lives so that we can finally go out. In reality, there are so many fun things we can do on our own and take ourselves out. With summer here, we can plan trips to the beach alone which can be so therapeutic. You can bring a book, some snacks and tan all day. You can also go on drives, listen to music and even do this at night and have the windows down. Feel the breeze in your hair and your face with your favorite song on the radio. Going to coffee shops alone and getting work done or even making friends there is another fun outing you can do. There’s also day passes at hotels where you can spend your afternoons there enjoying the pool or other amenities that they offer. The possibilities are truly endless and the things you usually do with friends, can easily be replaced with just you if you feel like it. 

Move Your Body

I used to believe that exercise and caring about your health or being super into wellness was boring. The truth is, you have to find a routine that works for you. If you don’t like yoga or pilates, you can move into walking. If you don’t like that, you can try indoor spin classes. If you don’t like that, there’s gyms with tons of different machines or you can ask a friend to go to different classes with you that you guys can try out. Moving your body doesn’t have to be boring. It can be fun if you find what you like to do. You may have to try different things and it may take a while until you finally find what you like, but it’s all about trial and error. Prioritize your health and put it first because we only have one life, so we might as well take care of our body that comes with that. 

Education

Your education, things you learn everyday and how you perform mental fitness is an essential part of bringing the luxury back into your life. Why is that? Being educated in different topics, even if they are random, is always good to know. You want to be the person that can go into different conversations and have a say. You want to be someone that has interests and hobbies and is educated in them. When I was first getting into the entrepreneur space, I was educating myself by listening to podcasts, hearing interviews with the founders and even finding their books to read or reading articles online. There’s so many free resources and courses that you can take and read about online. Learning something new everyday even if it is small is a step towards that mental fitness. 

People

Your space, energy and environment are huge when it comes to who you want to be and what you want to do. If you are hanging out with people that constantly complain, or judge you and put their fears onto you, then this is someone you don’t want in your life. If you are around people that don’t have boundaries and don’t like you putting yourself first, then you may need to reevaluate who you are spending your time with. The reason why is because by not setting boundaries and being strict with your energy, then you  may be allowing things that can actually be detrimental to your growth. You want to be surrounded by people that are strong, and uplifting and motivating. You deserve this bit of luxury by being picking with your time and who is allowed in your space.

Reset Days

A calm way to rest at the end of a long day is by having a reset night or dedicating an entire day to resetting yourself. There’s tons of small ways you can do this and that can be by cleaning up your space, doing laundry, lighting a candle, doing a face mask, doing your hair, exfoliating and moisturizing, wearing cute pajamas to bed and even a closet clean out. Just have your space be clean, organized and have your body fully rested to be the best you.
