Trend Alert: Chunky Jewelry, Claw Clips, & Colorful Nails

It’s almost impossible to scroll through Tiktok, Insta, or Pinterest and not see a post where someone is showing off their new nails for the week with some colorful inspiration, or seeing a haul of new things such as jewelry and claw clips. I’ve seen this throughout my TikTok and I have to say I’m obsessed. I’m definitely a more minimalist color and style kind of person but seeing everyone go all out with these really pretty and girly looks makes me want to try them too!

Of course, the best part about fashion and just life in general, is that you only live once so be happy and do what will make you happy! Why not try out a new nail design when you head to the salon to get them done, or experiment with some new trendy jewelry to spice up your everyday outfits. I recently got a pack of some new colorful claw clips that I’m so excited to try this summer and what I love about this trend as well is that it’s so simple and easy to do. I’ve even seen some people do claw clip tutorials on their tiktok which is so fun because sometimes there’s new ways you can try doing these updos. The best part is that there’s such a variety of fun colorful clips you find almost anywhere you shop, especially Amazon! If you ever want a final way to fix up your look or make something unique with it, hair clips are definitely the way to go and they are so cute!

I am the kind of girl that has to have jewelry on all the time or else I honestly feel naked. Seriously, I need to always have rings, a necklace, an anklet, and earrings on at all times. Whether I’m home, or about to head out, I always need my jewelry on because it makes me feel so much more put together. Just over the weekend my new pack of earrings came in and I can’t wait to mix and match them all summer. This colorful jewelry trend has definitely gotten to me though and I’ve seen so many people on TIkTok do hangouts with their friends where they go to Michaels, and get things to make jewelry together which is so cute! I’d love to try that and even support some small businesses doing it as well because this is a trend I have to take a part of.

Nails, Nails, & More Nails

I’ve always been obsessed with having my nails done and just recently, the nail design that involves lines, squiggles, and lots of negative spaces has been something I’ve seen a lot on Instagram. Everyday I’ll see a poll from someone saying “Pick my nails! Going to the salon today” and they post some random Inspo of nails like the one below and I love it! Nothing says summer more than some colorful nails to go with your outfits everyday. It’s also fun to experiment and try new designs such as colorful French tips which is one that I’ve been sticking to a lot recently and I’m obsessed with testing out new colors every other week!
