One of my favorite things about the Fall is not just the shackets, trench coats and cozy knitwear, but also the fun, chunky boots and of course, loafers. Loafers may seem like they are shoes either for the workplace or somewhere you’re heading to that is professional, but they are becoming much more popular recently and have been more in style for casual wear. You can find great affordable pairs of these shows from stores like ASOS, Zara, Princess Polly, and Jeffrey Campbell, all the way up to Gucci, Prada, and more.
Within this blog post, I’ve curated some of my favorite ways that you can wear and style loafers to leave everyone walking past you wondering where you got your outfit from. Another great thing about loafers is that they can be dressed up or down. They’re perfect for a meeting at work with a matching pantsuit, or even a skirt and leather jacket for a night out with friends. This post will also contain some places you can search for to shop for a pair so that you can prep your closet perfectly and just in time for Fall which is right around the corner!

Jeans & Dress Pants
One of my favorite ways to style loafers are with jeans or dress pants! I recently went on a trip to Paris about two weeks ago and this was how I styled it below on my instagram @pamelamvaldez. I loved adding a touch of something casual yet classy with the loafers because even though I just had a pair of jeans with a cardigan, it’s all about how you accessorize and use them in an outfit. This outfit is also perfect if you have a casual date, going out for food, or adding some dress pants and wearing it to work. That’s the best part about loafers is that they’re great for any occasion no matter what you’re doing.
Skirts & Dresses
A great way to wear loafers is also with skirts or dresses! I’ve seen a ton of cute inspiration on Pinterest and Instagram of how people style them a little more dressed up and they’re so cute. With skirts or dresses, they are not only very chic but can once again be wore in the workplace or if you are heading somewhere that you can dress up a little more. With dresses, there’s also less stress about rummaging through your closet and trying to find something to put together.
Blazers & Jackets
When you’re wearing a jacket, doesn’t matter if it’s a trench coat or a simple blazer, the shoes will always make the outfit stand out. It can be so easy to add a pair of sneakers and go about your day, but the loafers add a touch to make it look like you did put a little more thought into what you’re wearing. Blazers can either be worn oversized with some shorts and a shirt, crew socks and your loafers, or you can have a fitted blazer with dress pants, a shirt tucked in, a leather bag, oversized sunglasses, and then the loafers! Trench coats are another Fall fashion staple which would go perfect with the shoes as well.
