July Favorites: Jewelry, Skincare & Self-Care Roundup

Last month’s June Favorites post which will be linked right here did extremely well and all of the brands were super excited to be a part of this post. For July, I am beyond grateful and lucky to say that I had a ton of brands reach out to me and ask to test out their products! I have worked and featured 10 brands within this monthly favorites and I can’t begin to explain and give enough thanks to all of these brands. This month I had the chance to try out Dermalogica, Starlette Galleria, Express, Amazon #DeliverSmiles, First Aid Beauty, Third Love, MyCHELLE Sunscreen, Good Molecules, Sophia Grace Jewelry, and Blissy! For the past few weeks as I’ve been testing out these products, I am going to be leaving honest and thoughtful reviews below for everything and shoutout to these brands for being so sweet and once again giving me the chance to test out their products.

Dermalogica

I have been an active fan of Dermalogica for the past year as I started taking my skincare much more seriously and and after reaching out to them in hopes to collab and create some content, I was lucky to have received a ton of amazing products. I’ve been actively using their Special Cleansing Gel at night and am obsessed with how amazing and clean my skin feels after. I have super sensitive skin so I am extra careful about what I put on especially when it comes to skincare so I would really recommend that gel if you’re looking for a new cleanser!

Amazon

This was definitely one of my favorite packages that I received! I was reached out to by Amazon Home in regards to sending me some fun picnic supplies which included a Kate Spade mini tote for holding some snacks and drinks, wooden utensils, a picnic blanket, an olive green Hopsulator Trio, a rubber pouch to hold some snacks, and the cutest hand written note which I always love getting from brands because they’re so personal. This was the cutest surprise and I’m so happy to have been able to be a part of their #DeliveringSmiles campaign and as someone who is obsessed with picnics, this is going to be used endlessly.

Starlette Galleria

I not only had the chance to feature Olivia Starling in our interview series right here, but I also was able to receive one of the rings from her brand Starlette Galleria and I love it! I am someone who definitely loves silver jewelry and prefers it over gold most of the time and also having the cross on the ring definitely means a lot to me too. I love the quality of it and I know it will last me many years to come and can really help elevate any outfit I choose to wear. First Aid Beauty

Hearing about First Aid Beauty and the positive rave of it, I was excited to try out this toner which was sent to me for a collab! I stopped using toners almost two years ago because they were extremely drying and my skin was starting to react really badly to it so I do admit I was a little nervous to try another toner. But it felt a lot different compared to other toners I have tried so I was really happy when I noticed my skin stayed the same, didn’t get red, or irriated! I will definitely keep using this and not as consistently as how I used my other toners where my skin was left super dry and I’m looking forward to seeing the long term results of the toner! Third Love

This was such an exciting campaign opportunity and I received the cutest Form Seamless Bra in the Sea Salt color with the Seamless Shortie in the color Tempest Heather and I am in love!! The bra is so soft and there was no wiring so the feeling of an uncomfortable wiring is totally gone. The material feels really buttery soft and I would definitely purchase again. The shortis feel the exact same in terms of softness and smooth lining. The struggle I have the most when I am looking for bras, is mainly just comfort and quality of the material. I have had no luck with bras recently so I’m beyond thrilled to have Third Love in my hands and I will for sure be on the lookout for more colors. MyCHELLE Dermaceuticals

Even when summer ends, having sunscreen on daily has become a necessity and is so essential for everyone if you want to start aging backwards, and reducing the risks of damaging your skin as you get older. You can visit the full line right here at Ulta and the products I picked were the Sun Shield Clear Spray and the Replenishing Solar Defense SPF! The sunscreen didn’t leave a white cast on my skin and it felt super smooth and not that heavy like other sunscreens where it’s not as airy.

Good Molecules

I recently tested another toner prior to the Good Molecules one and I was so shocked and happy when I noticed that they had sent me their toner in the mail! I’ve previously used their products, including an eye cream and I loved how it felt on my skin and this is exactly how I felt after using the toner. There’s no heavy or weird scent and feeling on your skin afterwards, it feels light, and you really will notice a difference within a few days. I’m not a huge fan of toners after a previous incident I had with one that dried out my skin so bad in red splotches, but this one is one that was great and I definitely do want to incorporate it more into my skincare routine. Not to mention, Good Molecules also always has the cutest and best packaging so it’s 100% insta worthy!

Sophia Grace Jewelry

I was reached out to by the founder herself, Sophia Grace and received the cutest pair of star earrings! I also put together 3 looks for how you can style the earrings over on my TikTok @pamelamvaldez for some outfit inspiration. What I love about these earrings is how they really elevate a basic outfit. Especially since dangly earrings have been much more in trend recently, these are the perfect pair for you to add to your collection! I was reached out to by Blissy to try out their silky pillowcase and it is seriously one of the softest things I’ve ever touched!! I am beyond excited to try this out because I am someone who loves to blow dry my hair so making sure that it can last for the next day is so important to me to have it last for at least a couple of days.
